Compliance Updates for CA and OH
Added a cannabis information brochure to all checkout pages for stores in California for first time customers and guest orders.
Updated the Flower category icon to a new default icon for all stores to comply with Ohio’s DCC rules.
A more distinguishable icon also within compliance will be coming in a future update.
Jane Gold deals digest
We are now sending a recurring email to shoppers featuring active, in-stock Jane Gold specials, which will lead users back to their favorite stores to earn cash back. Two emails will be sent on a monthly basis:
One to marketplace shoppers highlighting Jane Gold deals available at their favorite store, directing them back to the marketplace to shop.
One to embedded shoppers who have a linked bank account, highlighting Jane Gold deals at their favorite store and sending them to the embedded menu to shop.

The “Add to Bag” button has been adjusted to display when an item has extended lab results.
The location settings can now adapt to a smaller search radius on the Jane marketplace.
We will now hold a user’s place in the menu after they click into a product and then return to the menu.
We will now clarify that we allow excluding items either by product or by set conditions (category, brand, etc) on our new specials pages.
Users will now be able to upload images in our new specials pages even when the specials are synced from their POS.
We will now display high-resolution images on the communication banner. A semi-transparent layer will only appear if header or message text is present within the banner.
Specials that are consistently available without a set starting date will now appear in “upcoming” until the end date is reached, at which point they will move to “expired.”

POS

Close out report update
We added two new fields to the close out report: “Cash Received” and “Cash Refunded.” These fields provide more insight into the overall cash flow across all registers during the set reporting period.
Universal search
Easy search is now available for key functions from any page in the Back Office. Users are able to search for packages, sales, manifests, customers, and pages from this new search modal. Upon selection, users will be taken directly to the detail pages for those items.
Loyalty membership tiers
Retailers using Jane POS loyalty can now set different loyalty point accrual rates for different membership tiers. This allows retailers to proportionally reward their most loyal customers by giving them more points back as they spend more with the store.

When processing a return in Metrc-integrated environments, the system will now automatically re-open the package in Metrc if the package was marked as finished.
Net Sales figures will now consistently match between the Dashboard and the close out report.
The creation of duplicate AlpineIQ customer records will now be prevented.
Products missing a supplier field will now be properly displayed on the inventory tab and lots tab rather than being hidden.
Refunded taxes will no longer be used to calculate net sales, ensuring accurate totals.
All order details will now appear correctly on receipts for walk-in purchases.
Users will now be taken to the bag when starting an order from the customer queue for a customer who already has an existing order.
Overselling when “Inventory Strictness” is enabled will now be prevented, maintaining accurate inventory counts.
Orders will now remain open if the loyalty points validation fails.
The side navigation menu will now highlight items correctly as a user scrolls.
