New DCC brochure for first-time California customers
  • To ensure compliance with California regulations, first-time or guest checkout customers in California will now see a brochure from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) displayed directly below the checkout page.

Customize sales badges for product specials
  • We've introduced a custom field in the Business Dashboard for product specials. This allows our partners to customize the text on the pink sales badge that appears on product cards.

Automated scheduling for custom menu rows
  • The powerful scheduling tool, previously available for specials, can now be used for custom menu rows. This feature allows retailers to schedule menu rows to appear or disappear automatically on their menu. This update eliminates the need to manually toggle rows on or off in the Business Dashboard.

Flexible ACH transaction fee management (Jane Pay)
  • Retailers can now pass any ACH transaction fees to consumers. This flexibility allows retailers to offset these fees and offer ACH payments to their customers at no added cost, if desired.

Enhanced flexibility with category rows
  • We've enhanced our Business Dashboard setup to allow our partners to create rows based on the Jane default categories on their “Featured” menu page. Retail partners now have the flexibility to create menu rows based on broader categories like “Flower” or more specific subcategories like “Kief” for further customization.

V2 specials: filter by stock status
  • We've added a stock status filter (e.g., in-stock, out-of-stock) to the product selector table within the V2 specials builder in the Business Dashboard. This feature, available at both global and store levels, allows retailers to quickly target or differentiate products based on stock availability when setting up promotions.Customize sales badges for product specials

V2 specials: enhanced product identification
  • To improve clarity when building specials, products in the V2 Specials builder now display more detailed information including Category/Brand/Product Name. This enhancement helps partners easily differentiate between products, particularly those with identical or similar names.

Resolved.png
  • The application will now exhibit improved accessibility standards.

  • The headless cart quantity picker will now display with an optimized height for improved usability on all devices.

  • The system will now allow for the bulk-enablement of Jane Pay white label functionality via CSV import.

  • Jane Kiosk interfaces will now maintain the user's current position on the page and will no longer unexpectedly scroll to the top of the screen in rare cases.

  • Line items displayed on the cart and during the checkout process will update reliably and as expected when quantities or items are modified.

POS

New Features.png
Vendor credit report
  • This new report is designed to provide retailers with a clear overview of outstanding discount reimbursements owed to them by suppliers, helping to simplify financial tracking and reconciliation.

Expanded product options
  • "CBD" is now available as a "Flower Type" option when editing products.

  • "All in One" has been added as a "Concentrate Type" option when editing this product type.

Improved universal search
  • Retailers can now search for specific settings pages directly, making it quicker to navigate and manage your configurations.

Automatic email association with customer profiles
  • Previously, budtenders were required to manually enter an email address to link it to an existing customer profile. With this release, if a customer profile already exists, the email address from an ecommerce pre-order will automatically populate the corresponding profile on the POS terminal.

Local STS validation override
  • This feature enables individual terminals to bypass STS validation locally, allowing sales to continue processing even if the internet connection is unavailable. This override is designed to ensure continuous sales operations during internet outages and can be adjusted directly on an individual terminal.

  • Inventory availability for non-weighable products utilizing tiered pricing will now be displayed for easier viewing and adjustments.

  • Item base prices will now be reported with complete accuracy, eliminating a previous 1¢ rounding discrepancy.

  • The user interface will no longer display a light white overlay when scanning a barcode in the bag.

  • Bag tab states & performance:

    • The “Recommended,” “Past Purchases,” and “Notes” tabs within the bag will now display distinct loading and error states, similar to the existing behavior of the “Loyalty” tab if there are any issues retrieving information.

    • Opening a customer's bag will now exhibit faster performance.

  • Crashes due to the JPOS Loyalty Pay with Points validation failing will no longer occur.

  • Rare crashes when tapping on the cart item's "add package" button will no longer occur.
